I read the thoughts you wrote with this photo right away this time:-) Interesting stuff. I’ve read a lot concerning the American Civil War, but never ran across that info. I love old houses and this one doesn’t looks like it could be a show place with very little effort. I love those cedar shingles at the top around the window.
