Concrete Washington

Tiny town of Concrete Washington was the main source of building concrete

for construction of the three dams on the Skagit River in NW Washington state.

Constructed in the 1920’s and 30’s  Gorge,Diablo and Ross dams.

  At the Time of complettion  in 1930 Diablo  dam was the tallest dam in the USA.

 This is a remant on the Portland Cement Company in ‘downtown’ Concrete
