Maybe from where you were, you couldn’t read the hat?! This is a really well done portrait of someone that looks like he has a story or two under his hat!
I like it, and disagree with the previous commenter–looks to me like a guy with a sense of humor about his own failings and rough edges, which, in a sense, would make him quite functional in many ways.
