Euphemistically called the 'Grand Strand',  Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, USA  is an odd assortment of beachside condos,strip joints and buffets. The best and worst of the south are represented here. The sub culture is a blend of old southern hospitiality as yielded by  the hospitiality of the wait staff and cooks (usually black). The balance is the crass materialism we've come to know

 at the american beachside communities.

    The nature however can never be despoiled by the hand of man….
