It Looks Like Gold

When the lights go down in the California town
people are in for the evening..
I jump into my car and I throw in my guitar
My heart beatin’ time with my breathin’..
Drivin’ over Kanan, singin’ to my soul
There’s people out there turnin’ music into gold …

Pneumatic Fashions

Seen at the Maryhill museum in Goldendale, washington, an eclectic collection of art
including Rodin sculptures and drawings. The building itself is quite gorgeous in its setting in the windy chasm of the Columbia River Gorge. It’s surrounded by gigantic, surreal
white wind turbines, rangeland, ranches and cows. Way cool! I’ll post the Museum itself this week.

Progress

The right to cry out and wait a whole century.
The embers, the lone piano, the oil lamps
damaged by a dream.
The ambition in the spine.
Who will insist on tapping the window to show
how easy it is to delay the next hundred years? …
