I like your title and the image…
I don’t yet know why but this photo slammed into me really hard. That’s a good thing. I think so many emotions hit me at once over this that it will take me a bit to sort them out. I do know this. it has a profoundly sad and yet infinitely tender and loving or “watch-over” feeling about it. The single rose, the beautiful white statue with the broken part on one side, which spoke of the tenderness and something eternal. Although she is broken she is still standing watching-over. It also spoke to me of some part of life that we often miss in our hustle and bustle, a part of life that wants to remember what’s important and good.
I know none of what I wrote may make sense but your photos express a lot and I like that.
